Tallow Linen

A heavy plain-dyed linen with no sheen at all and a good deal of irregular slub left in the yarn. It is the plainest thing we sell and the one we recommend most often, because a plain cloth with real texture carries a room better than a pattern does.

Linen creases. On a fitted seat that reads as character; on a loose cover it reads as a crumpled loose cover. If you want the crisp look, have it fitted rather than slipcovered, and accept that the first few weeks of use will soften it.
