Verge Sheer

An open plain-weave linen with visible slub in the yarn, woven 300 cm wide so a full-height curtain can be cut across the width and hung without a join. That is the whole reason this cloth exists: on anything narrower, a tall window means a seam.

It is a sheer, so it filters light rather than blocking it. Expect the weave to show plainly against a bright window, and expect the colour to look lighter hanging than it does folded. If you need to darken a room, hang it in front of a lined curtain rather than on its own.
