Tall slender stems worked in bronze and pale beige thread, standing in a loose row on warm ivory linen, each one finishing in a narrow tapering head. No leaves and no flowers: the whole panel is stems and space.
It is the quietest thing we make, and the one that works best in a room that already has a lot going on. Hung in a pair, the stems read as a continuous stand.
